Im finding more clutch options for the DCT (Getrag trans).

There is an option from Rein on ECS and FCP’s sites. Also ebay has options, and this site has one from Getrag. Any info on these?

I have a list with some links, feel free to comment, some of these I haven’t seen on sale till recently.

1. Getrag -$2,216.36

https://www.rmeuropean.com/Products/...41-MFG184.aspx

2. Rein- fcp euro - $2339.99
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...in-28407842841

3. Project Gamma upgrade disks advertised at 950lb max torque, 1 yr warranty
On presale, so completely new product.
- $997.00

https://shopprojectgamma.com/product...ormance-clutch

4. Scmiedmann - 1,100 EURO

https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/produ...ct=28407842841

5. URO Tuning - $2,578.08

https://www.urotuning.com/products/b...65-28407842841

I have heard of Rein and URO tuning from parts on previous BMW’s. Good companies. Not sure about clutches though. Getrag makes the trans, just havent seen clutches sold from them. Also the project gamma upgrade disks are an upgrade option. Would like to learn more about them. Its a new option other than the others from SSP, Deka, Dodson, etc…

Any opinions on the stock clutches above with prices or with the new project gamma upgrade disks?

I recently bought the Deka Stage 2 from Turner Motorsport. Turner offers a lifetime warranty on these clutches in a similar fashion that FCP does on parts. I went with the Stage 2 setup based on what I have read or watched on YT. It seems the stage 3 was solid but also takes away some of the daily driver comfort. Since I take my car on long road trips I decided to go for a blend of comfort and higher torque rating. Evolve Automotive has a good video on YT about Deka. They used to carry SSP and not sure what happened there but suspect they needed something to would hold power better.

ATA is another company based in Australia. The folks at Seems Legit Garage carry them.

Project Gama has been around in the aftermarket stuff for a while but I am surprised to see them offer clutches and very shocked to see clutches at that price point.

I agree about project gamma. That is a good price point. I think the Deka is the best option. Its an upgrade with warranty. I use Fcp for some parts and oils.

With your Deka, do you use ISTA? I did my transfluid before with the pentosin fluid. It works well. Before I had one down shift error under load and backed off. The fluid was slightly blackened with less than 40K on it. After fluid change and software update, I’ve had no issues. I did the adaptation process etc…

I might go for an upgrade later. I am slightly afraid with SSP do to errors and such. I saw the video with the M4 from evolve.

I am interested in project gamma, they have good parts. I haven’t seen much for clutches from them. So wanna see how the product performs. Haven’t heard about ATA, but I am seeing new options, which is good.
The other clutches were stock, however FCP and ECS / Turner are offering the warranties, which is awesome. So you went with the best option at present. Any other thought on the Deka stage II? That might be what I go with later.

Do you use an OEM basket? As in do you send them the OEM clutch and they put the disks in?

Have the prices gone up alot? Im seeing a much higher price now. The project gamma clutches are $2K and Deka stage 2 is up on cost.
