The bumper protrudes out around the grilles. Even though the grilles are horizontal they still retain the double slats which is typical of M car design.

You can check out the first page of this thread for more pics of the leaked bumper.

The X5 and X6 M are allegedly going to receive a new engine (S68) with the LCI and it includes mild hybridization. The next Gen M5 is currently testing and it will be a hybrid, not mild. Sadly, the Germans want to hug those tress strongly. Porsche is taking the Boxster and Cayman to EV for the next Gen in 2025. The current Gen is the end of the line for ICE. Rumor also has it that the 992.2 (facelift 992) will see a model(s) with mild hybridization. Full ICE is slowing being killed off.

The new M2 won't receive the mild hybrid to start, will it?

Was shopping the 2 series for family and the M2 is without a doubt going to be the heir to the E46/E36 M3.

The car is about the same aize as an E92.

There were sightings of some M2 mules last year that looked like they were either hybrids or EVs, but those were on the F chassis. Haven't seen or heard anything hybrid related to the G87. Also ynguldyn hasn't posted anything regarding that. Being that the G80/2 don't have it I think it's a good assumption the G87 won't either.

I said this in another thread months before Russia invaded Ukraine; the EV push by Europeans has SFA to do with pollution or the environment and everything to do with reducing their fuel bill (especially Russian fuel)

Everything else is conjecture

Headlight washers are not required on vehicles with LED headlights, only Xenons.. It has to do with lumens output between the two but I won't bore you..

I'm not sure if it's still up today but on the Porsche website car built, you was able to watch the headlight washer nozzle disappear and reappear as you alternate from the LEDs to Xenons headlight option.

Just going to post some more good shots I've been finding:

Looks like this one still has the rear bumper covered up with extra hardware.

Do you guys think this will start at a cheaper price than the M4? If both are the same price I think I would still choose the M2 over the larger M4.

Of course, the M2 will be cheaper than the M4. How much is unclear. In my opinion, it would be totally incomprehensible if a car from a lower "class" suddenly became just as expensive as an M4.

Logically speaking, you're right; these days though, logic doesn't come into play much

That’s a ‘huge wing’? Gotta man up…lol…I wouldn’t even call that a wing, only a door handle 🤣

This is a wing

It's pretty pronounced, it reminds me of the old Acura RSX Type S optional spoiler.. My car came with one but it was blocking my rear view and drew too much attention, so I removed it..

It's just not my thing but if you like it, more power to you.. BMW is not going to include it gratis, so you'll actually have to consciously pay up for one.. And amen to that.. 🙏
