This forum is more about the f06/f12/f13 2 door coupes & verts & the 4 door gran-coupe...which are now defunct.

BTW, I'm still confused why this model was booted from the 5 series line-up and placed in the 6 series category all by itself.

This is what gets me, they bump the 5 GT which was perfectly fine at that range to the 6 series, flagship BMW sports-car.

Whats the result? You get car-reviewers putting the 6 GT against A7s/CLS and making a FOOL outta BMW... This really undermines the 6 heritage and people are shocked that the Gran-coupe is a 6 most of the time (non-car guys)...

I couldn't agree more. They had the E9, E24, E63, and then finally the new F series; such beautiful and sleek cars. Then had to go ahead and ruin the heritage with this.

That is not a real 6 series, it is an abomination. The F06, F12 and F13 were some of the most beautiful cars BMW ever built. I weep for the dirrection BMW has chosen to go.

I agree. I have a 2016 coupe. Would love a gran coupe and a convertible.
