Hey all

As the title says, I have the above and am U.K. based.

just wanted everyone’s thoughts on preventative maintenance on this model.

apart from the dreaded yellow grommet issue, is there anything else I need to be doing ? I’ve already had an interim oil and filter change done (In between the idrive services) but anything else I should be wary of ?

I understand this model has the n55 engine. I’ve read the oil filter housing gaskets have issues, but is this common?
Is there anything else I need to be mindful of?

and would warranty cover any such issues ?

I don’t know the exact ins and outs but the grommet wears over time and when the bonnet drains at the front of the vehicle get blocked I understand rain water then gets in via the front foot wells
