AC Blows Warmer Air On Driver Side Than The Passenger Side
Hi folks,
I am kind of new to this Forum, and I hope someone could give some help for my situation. I have searched this problem online, but the AC problem is rarely talked within the 6 series forum. I have a 2013 M6 coupe with 38k miles. She was really baby cared, and did not throw me any problem before. However, recently, I noticed that the AC is not working well. It takes about 10 minutes to start blow little cool air on the passenger side, but the driver side is not cool at all. I think my car might low on refrigerant. Could someone give me any advice please. I plan to go to the dealer this week. Should I just recharge the refrigerant or something need to get repaired? Which parts are most likely to have leak? Since my car is out of warranty, I am kind of nervous it would cost ton of money. Any comment would be help. Thanks!!! |

Since you are close to where I am, do yourself a favor and go to this shop before going to a dealer. These guys are in Orange. Fünfzehn Automotive.

Thanks for you reply, I went to the dealer today, and they inspected that the AC condenser might have a leak, and they used dye to test the entire ac system, hopefully I can get the result tomorrow.
However, the bad news is that they also inspected that the upper oil pan is leaking oil, turbo coolant line has slight leak and the rear axle seal as well. It sounds a pain for me, but might be normal on a 8 years old car. Fortunately, I have a aftermarket warranty but never used before, and I hope it would cover all the issues. Just want to know your experience with Fünfzehn Automotive, I might want to see them if my aftermarket warranty will not cover these issues. Thanks! |

I went to the dealer today, and they said the ac refrigerant pressure is very low, and might have leak on the condenser. But thanks for your advice!! |
