There is a post on here somewhere where someone rempapped their car and asked BMW FS if it was allowed. They were told that it was fine aslong as the car was put back to standard once it was due to be handed back. Mine is not on PCP so that doesn't apply. Same goes for servicing. You can get it serviced elsewhere, but keep your warranty intact, they need to use BMW genuine parts. Just means you won't have FBMWSH... just FSH.

So far I have had no issues with the remap. The N57 is used across many models and I think the tuners out there have kind of mastered it. I went to Celtic Tuning as they have done many 335d's, 435d's and 535d's. This gave me comfort in my decision. Plus they came highly recommended on this forum.

I see you wrapped the other chrome pieces, where did you get the vynal and did you remove the parts to wrap

You have devadged the boot, isee your in uk so used boot :-)

For the Chrome trim, I didn't remove as I was scared of breaking the clips. I wrapped it while on the car. Used a plastic vinyl squeegee tool to get in behind the edges and then used a hooby/craft knife with a very sharp blace to cut round it. Applied some heat before and after to make sure it stuck down good.

Black boot badge looks cool. I thought about getting one too but prefer the clean look on the boot. After seeing what you bought I might consider it now.

400 bhp but need to get it on a rolling road. They came out to me and did the tune on the driveway. My mate had his E350 done at the same time so got a decent price from them.

Maxton Bodykit wss from their own website. Think they have got 15% off this weekend on everything. I got 10% off.

Exhaust tips were from Ali Express. 73mm in and 101mm out.

Thanks mate, I am very tempted to do a remap and have 400 bhp readily available but a bit reluctant as I have warranty .
I like the side skirts on your car, the one on the Maxton website for my car look straight whereas yours follow the curve of the body and look much nicer. I will need to measure the exhaust pipe on mine to ensure it's 73mm in and will go for the exhaust tips...

Mine was debadged from factory and the boot does look clean

But after seeing the big skoda in black on new cars it looks great ;-)

M Style Black Gloss Mirror Caps added today.

I think they finish off the exterior nicely.

Quite easy to fit. Plastic trim tool used to remove them... Only held in with 2 clips. Finish and fitment can't be faulted at the price.

Love the set up! I couldn't decide whether to do wheels first or a lip kit with stock wheels (like yours) and you helped me make my decision.

RxRyan, you can find the mirror caps on ali express, just search for m style f06 mirror caps. I see that they are only for 2014+, can anyone chime in if they will fit my 2013? I'm assuming it's because the turn signals, but if the mirror is still the same shape/dimensions, I can live with the empty space where the turn signal would be.

I keep going back and forth on the door chrome and side turn signal chrome... black looks awesome on space grey, but on alpine white is kinda checker boardy, and I’m not going to do a spoiler.

Do you mind sharing where you got the Eibach spacers?

Think the gloss black will be a good contrast for the white...

I got a rear spoiler but now opted not to fit it. Like the look of it without.

For the spacers, I got these from Amazon.

Eibach Part Numbers for F06:

The OEM BMW lug nuts are 27mm.

I rang Eibach Customer Services and the guy was very helpful. He said for 10,12 and 15mm spacers, 40mm nuts work fine.

Actually, I think I’m in the same boat as you itzjoker! Ugh! I didn’t realize JuneBug’s has turn signals in the mirror at first, until ordering the part off Amazon and going out to look at how that could possibly fit on mine.

Mine’s 2015 650i GC, so thought’d be fine since it’s listed as a part for 2014-2016 F06. I’ve tried cancelling the order and will keep hunting for one thats compatible with pre-LCI

Another Mod Today...

Decided to experiment with some pinstripes on the recently installed Maxton bodykit. I order a 50m roll of 6mm Orange self adhesive vinyl.

First I wasn't too sure but it has grown on me alot!

I like the contrast with the grey.

(Sorry for the bad quality... Looks like the upload has changed things)

Thanks, it hasn’t shipped yet, but just waiting on confirmation from seller they are willing to cancel it.

If not I’ll give them away here

So the only Pre-LCI covers I can find are black or carbon fiber OEM look, no M style ones.

So I think I’ll likely just get my stock ones vinyl wrapped, along with the side signal markers and door handle trim
