Hi Guys,
we have some crazy hot weather here in Ireland and i am worried about the leather dash being destroyed. i don't have a garage or a car port etc so its in the elements. anyone in the same situation? and if so what solution do you use ? Regards Ro |

When I am at work, my car sits outside. Potentially in the sun and other elements, so I plan on ordering a sunshade from Weathertech. My understanding is that the fit is great on those. Not sure if they ship to your side of the world though. They also claim that it will cool in summer and warm in winter. Would love to hear from others regarding this product.
Then there are the sunshades on Ebay and Amazon, but not sure about the fit and quality. I do not believe that BMW makes an OEM sunshade for the 6. L |

Hope the link works for you. This link is for a 2016 GC X, but I imagine they are all the same. L |

Thanks for bringing this subject up.
What would be the best product I should use on my extended leather dash to protect it (it is still in fantastic shape so should I use a leather cleaner before I apply the protectant or does this product do both)? Thanks |

I just used the BMW brand leather conditioner. It worked beautifully. About $20.00
