Anyone here use a windscreen on their convertible?
Hello again,
Newbie here with a 2014 640i Convertible and see there's a slot behind the front seats for a wind screen. Was curious if anyone uses one here and whether or not they like it or find it very useful. If so, which one do you recommend? THANKS! TTG |

I have the BMW windscreen and find it does really help keep the cabin quiet and reduce wind. You can have a telephone call on the highway and hear everything clearly.

100% recommend getting one. The cabin is already pretty calm with the roof down but using the deflector makes it even better.
They are pretty expensive even on the second hand market but it's well worth it. I leave mine installed pretty much all the time since no one ever goes in the back. |

I have the factory one. Used it a couple of times, but then stored it in the basement 3 yr ago. I guess it made a difference, but not enough for us to keep it in the car.

This one seems very reasonable: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-6-SERIE...5.c10#viTabs_0 Anyone have this one? I'm guessing it will be fine as there's not much to these things or do you think it's better to get straight from BMW? Thanks guys! TTG |
