Extension of extended warranty
The BMW purchased extended warranty of my 2015 650 GC matures in April, 2022 and I am wondering if I can pay to have BMW extend this warranty or, if not, what would be the best way to have coverage if I want to keep my car after the initial extended warranty ends? I would really like to keep the car for a few more years after the extended warranty ends but want the peace of mind that expensive repairs would be covered.
The car will have about 85K miles on it in April 2022 but it is in superb condition, perfectly maintained, and has never been in an accident. Thanks |

“BMW Extended Warranties” will only go to 7 years from it’s original in service date. If your car was first sold in 2015, it can’t be extended with a Factory BMW Warranty. You will need to find one of the many aftermarket warranties.

Thanks Derek. Do you know which aftermarket warranties would be the most reputable? I have heard horror stories of people paying top dollar and hardly getting what was promised.
