Going from Bootmod3 Stage 1 to Stage 2

I have a 2014 650 ix Gran Coupe and recently installed the Bootmod3 stage 1 flash tune. The car is a bit more responsive at the low end but can definitely feel it more in Sport mode up in the higher rev range. I was thinking about going stage 2 that would require cat-less down pipes. Was looking for some feedback on anyone who has recently made this move from Bootmod3 stage 1 to stage 2. Will stage 2 provide any improvement in throttle response? What is your overall opinion moving from Stage 1 to Stage 2? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I’m eager to know as well!! In general, you’ll experience a lot less turbo lag with the DPs, even before tune.

I’ve gone bm3 stage two with my n55 x3, but felt the delta with just our 650 bm3 stage 1 was greater than bm3 stage 2 n55 x3.

Stage 2 is definitely more aggressive but no where near the gains from stock to stage 1. You need catless dps as you mentioned as the increased heat is an issue. The car will also sound different, louder and deeper especially on start up. There is also a slight oder as your cats are removed obviously. Less turbo lag and you will hear them spoil up and down.

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully the smell is not too bad. Less Turbo lag would be great! So in your opinion do you feel Stage 2 is worth the money with the down pipes?

Yes but I'm also all in with the car, including meth.
