It was way way way back, before you joined.

There was a member named Billup who became Lups honorary pool boy. Lups has standards, and her pool boy had to be easy on the eyes so to speak, which is why Billup was only an honorary pool boy and not her actual pool boy. Plus, she would have to get a pool.

Joking aside, he was also a funny guy and I enjoyed having him post here.

Aaah, Billie... it took a whip and a half to get him to heel but my god this forum was good when he did.

He was the best. I miss him often. Such a sweetheart towards anyone who bothered to talk to him and such a thorn on my arse before the tide turned in our relationship.

BILLIE IF YOU'RE OUT THERE, ILL BUILD A REAL POOL FOR YA! YOU'RE HIRED!

Don't, I'm just too bloody cheap to pay anyone to do anything. I have a huge ego on top of that so the results are often horrifying. My husband has learned his lesson tho. His motto in life is " let her do it, if she fails she'll pay for it to be fixed." At this point he could hire a fleet of people (first wrote hookers but I started to feel bad for excluding male escorts. I'm sorry i was so narrow minded) to play his housewife harem for a year and it would be cheaper than all my fuckups combined.

I can attest to the Finn's being cheap. I have one as a client.

That being said though, after a year of "discussions" over the various bills, he has settled in quite nicely and thinks I'm better than sliced bread apparently, because he no longer questions the bills, and keeps referring me more work. Either that, or the Finnish part of him is being taken over by the Canadian side. Am not sure.

The best? Really eh? I mean I know where I rank on your list, and I'm fairly certain I'm scraping the bottom or close to it, but I'm still a little surprised...I thought it was UncleWede who was the best...the tops on your list?

Uncle Wede - don't you find this confession interesting?

What with his long flowing golden locks and all...a sort of Pintel from the Pirates of the Caribbean look to him is how I've always pictured him. Mainly since you mentioned the long locks and Uncle Wede said he's balding - that's the best reconciliation between the two looks I could come up with in my mind.

How accurate it is, I'm not sure we'll know. But I want it to be true.

I fired my old electrician last month. I figured out that over the years he had given me discounts far bigger than my usual demanded 15%. The stupid mother fucker actually kept working with me to bill me way, way less than he was worth so he could bill me for the charity shit I do .

His scheme was simple. He answered my call and fixed lighting and appliances for the abused women i ran into and he told them i handled his fees, then he never billed me. Since this is covid time and he has celiac disease and lactose intolerance, I called his wife and asked for their adress and we went there, brought them milk and whiskey and I sang him Baby shark. The man was 72 with a bad back. I hope he shat his pants.

Horrible situation... his wife cried. She had no idea how much good his husband did, her ears were hurting cuz I sang their dog's favourite song all the way through. Finns are strange.

Yes, you're low on the list. I absolutely hate you for being a good friend for all these years even after we both know our views in many issues are far apart. My curly hair dude, Wade, you and a few others helped me through to a final chapter in my grieving process, acceptance. Totally bottom scum on my list the both of you!

Good on you for cutting that electrician loose, I bet he was...shocked! That sort of scheme rivals all the Ponzi schemes I've seen...you almost have to admire that sort of man who can concoct such a thing! Almost like there was a spark to him, a certain light if you will. Just draws you in, like a current.

I'm done now. But yes, I think it is safe to say he knows exactly what you think of him now.

And I assume he will never ever want to hear your rendition of Baby Shark again, so I suspect he'll straighten up and fly right.

It is surprising how therapeutic the board can be. A lot of good people on here. Some hope for the human race and all.

The man truly is a fuckup, his son is even worse. He was my source on his dad's bad behaviour and now the guy brings me shit he's taken down and repaired so I can hand them over.

I should report them to irs. I fucking hate having these criminals this close to me, even so close that when covid hit, their wives thought a retirement party firing by me could make their point stick with the old guy.

You all and the fuckups I deal in real life are terrible people.

Dinonz - how big is your lot - it has to be sizeable for that price!

We just paid $5.3K USD equivalent for our property taxes, but our property is 152' x 600' lot.

It's not so much the lot as the house. Lot only accounts for 10% of the taxes really.

My thoughts exactly. Even if my home was fully paid off, I would pay more in taxes than I would to rent a place.

My new home is on 13 acres, and that will cost me less I think - it's in a lower tax area, and the land is AG exempt.

The only reason I'd change my residence would be to gain the ability to vote in local elections so I'd at least have a voice.

Car license tabs are cheap, but I don't get mail there; if I did, I'd license my X5 in Wisconsin and save about $600 a year. Would still be peanuts compared to the property tax.
