$1150 for a used wheel, rewrapped with no trim?

Is that accurate?

IYou can get a new oem alcantara wheel with trim and get close to the one with with lcd screen and shift light for that money.

A used wheel is $300/$400 and maybe $200 to re-wrap...

What am I missing?

$400 for wheel (if including your core), $400 for paddles, & convenience of not waiting weeks to get a wheel with white accents. and yes for $1600 u can get all of that minus the paddles with a screen👍🏼

Brand New OEM M-performance steering wheel is $805.00 you might want to adjust your pricing.

Just curious - is this an oem leather wheel wrapped in alcantara? Is the wrap over the leather, or did it replace the leather? And does that mean it retains the heating function?

Cheers!

these are different products...not everyone wants a blue stripe. and also, i find that this wheel has much better stitching and pops more than a plain jane mp wheel. but thats just my opinion!

heating works great!, yea it's wrapped over the leather. i like that tho it gives the wheel a thicker grip instead of an m performance one where it feels almost skinny..

These are great points! I have owned the x6 m both 2011 and 2013 and have had the equivalent oem alcantara steering wheel and it is twice the thickness as our M6 f06 version... this always bothered me...

Had I known this was an option early in I would have explored this route... just curious who made it and is this option available for others to explore?

Seems like my cars previous owner liked to wear rings on every finger because the marring in the wheels leather was ridiculous from stones in the rings. I temporarily wrapped mine in alcantara because I eventually will purchase the M performance led steering wheel. Wheel is slightly too thick for my taste but still retains heating.
