Low Coolant Level warning

hello everybody i got this message there was 2 days ago : Low Coolant Level" warning.

I got this on the screen of my navi screen not on the dashboard.
But its normal if i only have this message on the navi screen ?
if i check the vehicule status i see nothing on coolant level warning ?
i don't checked the refill tube.
if i have a low coolant level warning i would have this message always enable on the dashboard or navi screen no ?

Is it a 640D? If so look at threads for EGR recall. Best way to confirm if your coolant is low is to check in the reservoir not the screen.

no its 640I
curious when i got this message i didn't see it on the id drive screen after ( i mean the next day until now)
i add almost 1 liter of blue coolant bmw

If you coolant is just a little low, it expands when it gets hot and your light will go out/warning will shut off until it cools gain. Do you mix the coolant 50/50 with water? You should.

Check your oil, not sure if the 640i has a dip stick, you could check on the idrive to make sure the oil level isn't going up. Another check is for a mayonnaise like substance in the underside of the oil filler cap. You shouldn't be losing that much coolant so look around for leaks. If it's not in your coolant system is got to go somewhere, hence check oil.
