Anyone here come from a E92 M3 and go to the F13/F12 M6
Thoughts? Pros and Cons? Do you miss anything about the E92 M3?

I would recommend the F06 GC over the vert or coupe, based on looks alone.

I had an e93 Convertible for several years, switched to F12 convertible. Biggest difference is the size, its far bigger. The hood extends farther out so tight spaces require more effort. DCT is the same, M6 has way more grunt. back seats are useless in both cars except for children, especially with top up. The e93 is a tight nimble sports car, the F12 is a large gt cruiser. I like both, but will likely go smaller for my next car, either M4 or 911 vert

Had an e90 M3 (4dr) and now have the M6GC, so bigger cars than you are asking about, but I can say the 3 biggest differences for me:
1. Steering: the e90 M3 had a lot more feedback and feel, but maybe a bit less precise. A very different feel altogether and one I would think you would have to try for yourself to evaluate. 2. Power Delivery: The normally aspirated V8 in the e90 had an immediacy about it and a more linear delivery. The M6 sort of takes breath (inhales) and while torque and power is immediate the real mind bending surge comes a fraction later and considerably stronger (note I have Akrapovic exhaust/Dinan Stage II). My M6 as configured is A LOT faster. 3. View: The e90 is a virtual atrium compared to M6. In the M6 I feel like a fighter pilot in an F16 cockpit. I'm 5'7" and the door sils on are very high, right at my shoulder and the front and back glass are long and sloped resulting in thinner visibility. I love it in the M6 but some people (notably my wife/the car terrifies her anyways) do not. |

When you're a 6 series (including the GC body), you feel like you're in a coupe. You're encased in a fuselage strapped onto a rocket. And for the case of the M6's turbo, DCT, Akra, you barely feel like your mind is one step ahead of what the car is telling you what's happening when you're going WOT. It's definitely a thrilling ride.

I agree with the V8 immediacy, but a partial fix is in the settings. At default I find a definite pause before grabbing, so I always immediately press my M2 button, my setup is s3, suspension and throttle sport plus, steering sport and mdm enabled. Helps eliminate the slack.
