Launch Control rpms

When using Launch Control vs Brake boost build what rpms does the car generally launch at? I was out this morning messing around with my 91 octane bootmod3 tune and I was able to go 3.77 0 to 60 off the foot brake but could not use launch control because there was too much traffic. Left at about 3000 rpms and wondering if LC will let me leave higher. Anyone have experience with it?

Launch leaves at 3k from memory when I first tried it in the car. Oh just saw the mod, that was just the std bmw launch

How do you know if your car has launch control?? I have a '14 650 when I step on the gas and break a flag symbol never appears for me

From my understanding, if you have sport + in the car then launch control should work.

The car first has to be in operating temperature
1. Put the gear selector into S
2. Engage sport +
3. Press the brakes hard(really hard)
4. Press the accelerator all the way down(to the point of the kick-down switch)
5. Let go within 3 seconds

You should then see a flag symbol saying launch control active

Launch control on a car like the 6-series is hilarious to me. It's literally a land yacht designed for rapid point A to B highway conveyance.
