Brake feel / travel?

Anyone feel like the brake travel on the F12 is a bit long?

I am currently in a 3er loaner, and the brake travel on that thing is almost nil, it's almost too short and way too twitchy.

While there's no way I'd want it to be that short, I'm just wondering if anyone thinks the brake travel (in whatever mode, Comfort, Sport, etc.) is a bit short?

No problem on my 640i; the travel is spot on and, in normal use, the brakes are beautifully smooth. However, with sufficient pedal force, they can be as fierce as you want in an emergency.

I have yet to actually mash the brake on my 650. I've stopped quite agressively, but I haven't floored it- I'm a little afraid it will rip my face off.

I did the 70ish to zero ABS braking exercise at the PC in a 650i convertible, and it was very impressive for the momentum this massive car was holding onto at that speed. I did it about 4 times mashing the hell outta that brake pedal, and it handled the exercise superbly. They teased that we could keep the car if we broke off the pedal during the exercise, and, honestly, a Vermillion 6er would look great in my driveway next to my Carbon Black M Sport coupe
