M6 Rear Diffuser On 650 GC Questions
I'm going to install the M6 exhaust and rear diffuser on my GC, and looking at this parts diagram:
https://www.bmwpartspros.com/parts/2...iagram=1931915 I do need part #7 the diffuser/lower cover, and part #27 cover panel to close up the rear space between the mufflers, do I need part #26 the diffuser? Does that keep the air from getting behind the lower cover and ripping it off? Maybe I'd be better off just getting a one piece carbon fiber unit that includes the lower cover? If I do that do I still need the diffuser #26? Thanks in advance.

you can certainly live without it, but it does complete the look. its not necessary (nor will it fit) if you go with any other option for diffusers. I have a 3d design diffuser that incorporates that piece/look

Thanks, now I'll just go the carbon fiber route that incorporates the look and not have to worry about color matching.
