Rebuilt m6 a bad idea?
So I stumbled on a really really good deal for a 2016 m6 coupe. Fyi - I am in Canada. Its has 85,000kms and I can get it for about $40k CAD which is a great price for here.
The only issue is that the car has a rebuilt title, it had a $16,000CAD front center hit in 2017. I generally would never go near a rebuilt title especially with this big of a hit but with the crazy car prices these days I think this is actually a decent deal. I have heard that the m6 is not that reliable overall but I'm just looking for some opinions from other rebuilt M owners based on their experiences and if its worth it. |

If you'll keep it for a while it may not be a bad idea, but trying to sell a car with a rebuilt title can be a nightmare. If the owner is okay with it, you taking it to an exotic/high end body shop to have them inspect the work done, as well as either a BMW dealer or independent M specialist for a general PPI. The deal seems pretty good if everything else is in perfect condition. Good luck!

Go for it!
Make sure you get a quality PPI beforehand! Then make up your mind. Knowing you did your due diligence will save you a lot of heartache down the road. Last edited by IceScraper; 08-02-2022 at 06:14 PM.. |
