What Radar Detector are you guys using?

I initially thought about getting one but since I had not driven much at all I completely ignored this idea until I started driving more recently and driving a little fast here and there..

I find many different companies on amazon like Radenso and Escort brand are recommended there. I am not sure if big-ticket radar detectors ( 600~800 USD ) can justify their money worth when they all essentially do what they are designed for.

While we are on this topic.. how about a dashcam? do you guys have the bundle radar detector+dash cam or separate dashcam? any recommendation?

Im using the Uniden R7 radar detector in conjunction with the escort m1 dash cam ,Its very minimal but this combo looks very clean and works very well

I'm running an Escort Redline 360 in a Blendmount similar to Whipple's setup, with the ZW5 laser shifters mounted in my grille. Sorry, no pictures, but it works for me.

I use escort 9500ix. It's an older model, but it detects and displays red light cameras and speed cams right on the detector. It has most of the same capabilities as the newer models.
BlackVue 4K dashcam connected to BlackVue battery pack to use for parking mode without using car battery.

I'm currently endlessly waiting for the Radenso Theia to come out. They announced they weren't going to make the 2020 timeframe, so hopeful that Q1-2021 it rolls out.

I have the 360c Max and purchased a year ago. Already out dated lol. The Escort Redline 360 has great reviews but also very pricey. I need ZW5 laser shifters which is needed in CA for freeway driving.

Scroll up to @MMMM6GC post#3 click on his click here link ,then scroll down to post 8 ,the blend mount is from blendmount site for R7,and the M1 dash cam uses its included bracket and a screw is removed from the blend mount and replaced with a longer screw to attach the m1 bracket to the blend mount
its very easy,I believe Blendmount sells the longer screw kit for the M1 dash cam,I seen what size it was and got mine from Home Depot but I forgot the size off hand ,The power is pass through so you plug into the M1 cam first from the mirror tap then there is a little jumper off the M1 cam to power the radar detector

No , not at the moment, I’m happy with the R7, Really have to see what Vortex Radar says after he tests , it’s gonna be expensive might not be worth it

I know the owner of Radenso and a lot of the folks that work there. Truly a fantastic group of people. Seriously cutting edge stuff. I currently have Pro M's in all of my cars. Also waiting for Theia to be released. Amazing technlogy.

Is there any write up or guide on how you wired and setup your detector?

Exploring on my end... I have the bmw advanced eye 2 as my front and rear cam setup...
