on my 640d the outer size of stock tips are 81-82 mm,,,,so i would need tip with an inner of 83 mm,,,surely the 650 has wider tips than 63 mm, them tips you show have inner of 63 mm etc,put a ruler/tape measure across the tips for a quick guide to what inner you may need

On my 640d, the pipe size is 71mm.

I changed them for 73mm in, 101mm out tips

(ignore the masking tape - been looking a diffuser replacements)

Help!

Does anyone here recommend an exhaust tip that will fit my 2014 BMW 640i Convertible?

Preferably I would like to get 2 tips (1 for each side) that I can just tighten with a clamp or screw without welding.

Thanks!

I found that leaving the car on for a few mins warms the exhaust up. Then with a rubber mallet, few taps at the back edge of the exisitng tips loosens them up to pull off.

When I ordered my foot pedal covers, they wanted £11 customs charge. I contacted the seller and they reimbursed me for the charges.

Worth a try and see what they say?

update,,they arrived 2 days ago,,anyway, took tips off, slid them on,,,,oops bit to big,,,the tips of exhaust are 71 mm,but what i didnt notice is,,the go narrower after about 3 inches,,and thats where they need tightened down ,,so going to go to y localm garage who i use for stuff like this,,get them to chop around 3 inches off, then build up some weld on the exhaust so i can get it a bit thicker to tighten down the tips,,the quality is fine and they look good,,even if i could have tightened them down,,the exhaust wou;d have been very close to the mouth of the new tips and look not that good.hope this helps..
