Whats suppose to be on the rear diff here?

Hi. I have a 2015 BMW 650 Gran Coupe Xdrive MSport (Pre-LCI).

I was changing the rear differential fluid recently and I noticed a bolt broken off inside a bolt boss on the rear of the rear differential.

I have attached a picture with an arrow.

I suspect someone was jacking the car up there prior to my ownership and possibly broke off maybe a vibration absorber or something? However I cannot find any part that would go there when I look at the parts diagrams on realoem for my car.

Can anyone tell me what goes there?

I don't know what that is but I suspect it's normal since mine looks the same way.
