Just installed Jb4 on my M6

Hey guys so I just did a jb4 install last night. I didn't get a chance to finish doing the selenoid connections so as of right now I can run Map 0 which is stock and Map 1 which is the boosted map.

I did some logs to see how much boost I'm running stock and on map 1. Stock the car was peaking out at 14.7 to 15psi. On map 1 the modded map it was peaking at 19.7psi. My car is cp and has charcoal filters removed everything else is bone stock.

So after a few strong pulls I can say there is so much power gains. Every gear you feel gains from all the extra torque to top end feel.

I like the Bluetooth connections. I can switch maps with my phone. I can log and check for codes. I'm very pleased with the gains. I will connect those other connections at some point soon to see what map 2 feels like. Wanted to share my tuning experience with you all.

Tunes are amazing. I had JB1 on my F80, S3 and 335i. Such easy power, especially for me as I just do the JB1 and skip the bells and whistles of the 4. Glad you're enjoying it! Once my car (also a CP) starts to feel slow I'll probably throw a tune on.

I would contact burger tuning before hand. I'm not sure you can do this.

Not yet. Took me longer than expected to finish. We finished at like 1am. Called it a night cause that's the harder part of the job.

I will be doing that soon also. Going to see how the car reacts to map 2 and log.

When you go from map 1 to BCM and map 2, the car becomes insane! You'll need drag radials to hold it down in 1st and 2nd. This is why BMW is moving to AWD, too much torque but it's really fun to drive!

You're 100% correct. The car is completely useless atm for me. With temps aorind 50F or less I'm just slipping and sliding.

I got a chance to do a full pulls at a higher speed tho and man the gains are really amazing.

I was able to hit just over 22psi on map2 jb4 with no other mods 93 octane. Car felt great.
