Short Throw Shifter

Anyone ever install a short shift in their manual M6?

haha, you're asking a minority of owners here.

The one thing I know, the 6MT in the M6 is the same transmission in the standard 5 series 535/550. You should ask owners there.

I'm going to guess, not many people do this, and a cheaper alternative is to use a different knob that has a shorter stalk.

I've seen a brand on the M5 board. Didn't buy one, but I know it exists.

I only see M5 when I look up Rogue. Are they exactly the same? I don’t see ING at all.
