Maybe it's the angle but that last screen grab is highly reminiscent of the clown shoe Z4.
Doesn't look too bad but will reserve judgement until camo is off. Hopefully they blend in the bulges a little better. |

I think it's difficult to judge when the car is alone on the track with camo. By the known measurements it is wider and longer and probably heavier than the F87. I have no doubt that the G87 will perform but will it retain the tossabiliy and playful nature of the G87. We need more leaks.

I believe Artemis shared the dimensions of the new 2 and it's very similar to the E46.

The F90 and ducktail Porsche did some particularly nice 4-wheel drifts.
(In the original sense, not slow raggedy tail-out "drifting.") #trackdaygoals

Gotta agree with some others here, it looks bloatedly huge and I'm expecting to be disappointed. I also can't get over the single headlight at this point.
I suppose if it doesn't have buck teeth it won't be a total failure

I think the G20 chassis is near-excellent so I'm confident BMW will nail the 2-series as well.

The Supra would be great if manual, and I wouldn't rule out a Porsche in the future

Car looks a little bloated but hard to say without having it next to the F87. I think all the G series tech will inevitably make it heavier and since the m2 is usually some detuned version of the M3, one has to wonder if it'll handle the weight difference as well as the G80 M3 has.

Except it's really not. G80 M3 is almost the exact same length as the E39 M5 at 188.7". That F01 7 series was 199.5" (non long wheelbase). So, the new 2 series coupe will most likely be around 18" shorter than an F01.
