Tint Opinion For RS4 (Repost)
Sorry Not E90, but i figured id ask here. I have Mugello blue. i want to tint my car. But I want something that will look really good on the car. I was thinking something like 15% or 20% all the way around. I want to have the same percentage tint all the way around, i dont want lighter in the front and darker int he back. The same all the way around. What do you think would look good. Here are some pics of the car below to help with your opinion.

I have 15% and there has never been a time when I thought it was too dark. Rather, I have a friend that got 20% on his Dolphin Grey A4 and he always wishes he went 15%. Keep in mind where I live is always cloudy and dark too.

Go 15%, it offers a very dark look whereas 5% offers the look but visibility of black construction paper.
Another option is tint 20% all round and do the widshield at 50% or less, making the other windows look much darker.

Wow... stunning car and color.
I'd be careful not to go too dark though.

Whatever you do decide to do, get a good shop to do it. Explain to the tinter that there is a difficulty with the dot matrix on the rear window and he needs to prep it properly or it will look like absolute sh*t. That is all.
By the way findtom, my mother just ordered a new loaded X5 with the V8 what do you think of yours so far?

Don't go lower than 20%, it will take away too much visual from the beautiful color of the car. Darker tints look better on silvers & whites to help contrast.
