Carbon Damage
2013 M6 the resin is chipped in a few places and in a quarter sized area seems to have lifted on the roof. The rear Carbon spoiler (oem accessory) is also flaking. My question is this something that can be repaired ? I imagine it will be very expensive to sand with out hitting weave and add a new layer of glass/polish.
Any chance at this age of the car it still has some defect warranty? |

I would check in with a highly reputable paint shop. It MAY be able to be sanded down, leveled out and re-cleared. If they’re able to fix it for you, your best bet after is to get the carbon fiber fully paint corrected and have PPF applied to the roof and spoiler. I highly doubt BMW will cover any of these cost at this point. |
