Vaccine seems to be at least a year away and then you have to manufacture and distribute it and get people to take it, which will be a challenge. Worldwide cases of “regular” flu are somewhere around a billion / year and U.S. deaths from “regular” flu are something like 20,000+ annually. Yet many people still choose to not take flu shots (or get other vaccines for their kids).

Work for Costco and havent heard much of anything planned. Wash your hands, cover your cough, stuff like that but they wouldnt want to miss out on all the sales and be responsible. Boss said if we die from coronavirus they will probably write us up for not coming in dead.

Oh forgot to say, Starbucks at the airport wont refill my mug, but you know, the lady sneeze in your sandwich, don't wear gloves, open the backstore and entrance door with their hands, take back customers wrong orders and manipulate cash all day long....

This is the actual only preventive stuff that the airport have

genius.

That's actually a pretty good idea. Simple, yet effective. Our main dept office is across the hall from mine and dozens of people go through that door daily.

I am leaving on the 26 to go work Sun and Fun Airexpo. I will shake thousands of hands that belong to people from all over the world. My company nor the people running Sun and Fun plan to cancel but they are going to empty the trash more often during the show. It was nice knowing all of you....

Do they have toilet paper and bottled water in stock? If not, they should just close and get it over with.....

I stopped by Costco near me today and heard a woman asking a worker if they had any toilet paper. He said "no toilet paper but we have paper towels." Plumbers should do well unclogging toilets in coming weeks / months.

I don't get the toilet paper bit. We buy a big Sam's Club package about once every other month at most and we have at least half of the last package still. Enough to last us 2 or 3 weeks. Granted, there's just the two of us, but still...how much TP do these people expect to go through in a couple weeks?
