I had this installed back in July unfortunately some idiot cut me off and my car has been in the shop for two months. The few days I had it the power was quite noticeable and impressive

Would I be correct to assume that because of the above, the "DINANTRONICS™ Performance Tuner" is only available in the USA/Canada?

No, not at all. We can definitely handle oversea's orders although there is a bit more hoop jumping to deal with. We do have some international dealers as well but assuming you are not close to any of those we would simply ship you a pre-programmed version which you could install yourself or have a BMW shop you are comfortable with install it. If you are interested in such a solution simply reach out to one of our sales guys and they will tell you all the details involved.

OK, so it can be pre-programmed and self installed then, that sounds good. Would the BMW warranty still be valid for a self install in the UK or would it have to be dealer installed?

If future updates are released, would the unit have to be returned to Dinan or can it be user updated?

Yes it can be pre-programmed and self installed. Please note that you would have to have the ability to clear codes during installation. If you do not have that ability you may want to have an independent BMW shop do the install.

Future updates eventually will be able to be done by the user once the Dinan Apps (iOS / Android) are finished. In the meantime however in your situation, they would have to be returned to Dinan.

In regards to the warranty aspect of the question. Its a loaded question when you are dealing with international coverage. Please reach out to Scott Leandres @ 800-341-5480 x 2105 and he will be able to discuss all those issues a lot easier then me attempting to write a 5 page wall of text.

So this is for dinan guys. I did the stage 1 on my 2014 competition package couple weeks ago. I totally can tell the difference. However from 575 to 695 hp difference? At what point of level of real driving conditions I would feel that? I hope this question makes sense.

That's what is holding me back
1) can you put the power down without severe TC intervention ?
2) does your midrange acceleration improved ? - 60 to 120
3) I'm sure launch control feels the same and 0-60 numbers haven't changed correct ?

Everyone talks about feeling a smoother ride but that's what people really want ???

Thanks

I just switched from running the BMS @ +3.5 on 93 octane to the Dinan stage 1 on my 2014 CP M6. In brief the Dinan returns stock instant shift speed, no hesitation off boost , and better top end performance than BMS. In short its real useable power and the car feels significantly faster everywhere than the BMS period. The delays in shifting ,hesitation upon heavy throttle application, and limp modes during track use are why I switched to Dinan. No regrets, its a much much better product period.

Hi Richard , just what would be shipped?, is it an ECU, a piggy back or a program on a disk?.

It's a Dinan ECU box , with an OEM loom that connects to each cylinder banks ECU with a factory connector . No splitting , splicing or taping necessary . Very high quality . The tune is on the ECU box and is updated via blue tooth . Eventually there will be an end user iPhone app .
