F06 towing hook retrofit

Hi there! does anyone have experience with retrofitting the towing hook to your Gran coupe? I can find the PNs and all but nobody can confirm that it is possible. Also it seems it can only be added/retrofitted to non mpacket bumber. Any insights?

its not available as they discontinued it, i did a lot of research into this and it seems the only way is a custom fabrication. Is this for towing or for bikes?

i am just about to by a TREE FROG suction bike rack as its really only option for the 6 series, or put the bike in the boot.

You might want to check the material of the boot, I thought it was a composite and a bike rack could cause problems. I looked into the same thing years ago. I'm sure it's got the mounting points and I thought it was the same bar as the 5 series.

Could you, please, share your experience with those racks if you made the trip already? I need to carry two hybrid bikes on my 2016 F06 and I'm very interested in your feedback.

Thanks!
