M6 GC Rarity
Is it just me or is the GC (or M6 in general) a rare sight to see out in the wild?
...but then, when you bring your car in for service, there's magically three-four parked in the dealership's parking lot? ...And then when the respective owners see each other, they just have this nod of approval & camaraderie, plus get straight to admiring/sizing up each the others' cars, options, and choices. One things for sure -- I want those 433 style wheels. Either way, if your GC was at Fields BMW Winter Park -- one was quite rare (Tanzanite Blue), the other Alpine White with an interesting rear set up exhaust/splitters -- give me a shout (DM), trying to round up all the Orlando M6's for a shoot. Just remember the 433m wheels are really heavy, especially if you have 343m wheels at the moment.
In NZ I've seen 5 Coupes, 1 Vert and 1 GC ever. 2 of the Coupes were at car meets so not sure if that really counts

I have only seen one other M6 in town. It was a black 4 door. I have been on the look out but so far I am the only coupe. Although I do know there is another 4 door in town that is also orange.

It really depends on where you're from. Here in South Florida, I've seen quite a few M6's (though fewer GC's, that's for sure), but more and more 6'ers throughout.
Funny thing, one of my neighbors recently picked up a 650 convertible. We wave, of course. Still nice to see another 6 out and about. And I see an 8-conv. on my morning commute every now and again. - Leo. |

What are the chances? I was checking out the Alpine white one and I believe a grey one in the parking lot too. Not being a creeper, just seeing if it's a 6MT like mine. Here is a pic in the garage. Excuse the mess, I am reno'ing the garage. |

I bought my M6 GC in December 2014 and my lease was up in December 2016.
Great car. I've only seen 1 other M6 GC ever in real life besides mine....and that was literally 4 years ago. I'm right between Milwaukee and Chicago (and in both cities frequently), too, not like there aren't lots of nice cars around here.
