Another way i found to check if your car is tuned is connecting it to the Bimmerlink app.

When you run the diagnostics in the app, it will tell you if the car’s engine management software has been altered.

So I just grabbed this 2016 bmw f12 and my sport display shows 800 hp and 800 torque. Looks like I need to reach out to tuners eh?
