Rear trim cover

Hi guys,
Does anyone know if the rear trim body of the F06 and the F06 M are the same? I am thinking of changing the rear trim but the new one is only available for the normal F06. Does it fit?

Would one of the online part database sites answer this question? Just asking because I don't know which part/piece of the rear trim is being asked about...but if they share the same trim...they would have the same part nbr, right? And would there be a difference between pre facelift and facelift?

If they don't share the same part nbr...then something is going to be slightly different....and the part databases would list these differences...even provide details about option codes required etc.

You can look up the part nbr at any of the sites below:
  1. www.realoem.com
  2. www.bmwfans.info
  3. http://bimmercat.com

Using my 2013 650ix...these are the two rear trim diagrams for the base model and the m-sport pkg model:

Just in case you didn't see the subtle difference...the bumpers probably do fit up the same to the body of the car...but they have a slightly different design.

Take note of the location of the rear reflectors (red arrows in pics below). On the M bumper...the reflector is higher up and right beneath the rear tail lights. On the regular bumper...the reflector is below the crease and is more in alignment with the top of the license plate.

The regular bumper has a crease in it (see green arrows) whereas the M bumper is smooth. I think it is also an inch or two lower because on 6 series with the M-pkg...you can't see the muffler...but on the non sport models...you can actually see a little bit of the silver muffler.

The shape of the license plate indentation is inverted (see yellow arrows)...the regular bumper is wider at the top...the M bumper is wider at the bottom.

And the lower trim around the exhaust/tail pipes is also different (see the blue arrows).

Yeah, I know that. I am locking for the Haman rear which is for the 6series BMW Coupe F13 & Cabriolet F12 & Gran Coupe F06 with cutout for HAMANN 4-tailpipes sport rear muffler including Diffusor.
If the OEM rear bumper fits to the F12/13 and F06 so should the Hamann as well.
