I love the WW2 stuff, nice collection. Do you have a vintage 1911 to keep them company?

Nice. Mine came with one but doesn’t fit. I’ll need to get it fitted.

Thanks. I’m working on it. I can’t get myself to pay $1600 for a 1911A1, so I’m hoping the CMP will begin taking orders again in 1.5-2 years. I might buy an SDS 1911A1 to hold me over if the price ever comes down.

I’d buy a BAR and Thompson if they were affordable. Maybe I’ll buy them when I have doctor money.

The Thompsons are $$$$$ when they show up. BARs are nice. I occasionally see FA M2s for < $10k (because I'm a SOT 2) and it's hard not to get one just because...... but then it's like, wtf am I going to do with a belt fed .50 cal....

Hit the outdoor range today to relief some stress and try out new optics on the AR. Good times!

They are usually very well stocked with ammo. All they had was 4 boxes of .223 and no 5.56. Fortunately I have a good size stash.

Vortex Strikefire II with a Vortex flip mount micro magnifier. I wasn't sure about the magnifier, but I am pretty happy with it.

Nice rifle, I have the same one (it's the ORC carbine version), I threw an Aimpoint PRO on it.

How do you like the Vortex?

Thanks! Mine is ORC as well, I just added the flip up sights to it. It came with a Crimson Trace Red Dot.

It is a very good quality piece for the price point. I like the choice of red or green dot and the brightness adjustability. It held the zero for 150 rounds with no problem. The only drawback is the 4 moa vs. the 2 moa you have. The micro magnifier would be a perfect addition to your Aimpoint PRO. It has an excellent eye relief of about 3" which is still comfortable with the stock fully extended and doesn't have you right up on the charge handle like most others. The reversible flip mount and quick release is well made and operates perfectly. All in all I am impressed with both.

Realized a while back that despite owning a few firearms I did not have a good carry gun. Specs needed to be 9mm minimum, single stack, big enough my hand didn't engulf it and small enough to be easy to conceal.

Then yesterday a local dealer sent an email they had received an order of Glock 48s. Went in, fit well enough, done deal.

Won't trust it until I take it to the range but moving towards being armed when I go out in public. I admit I am saddened that this is even crossing my mind. But it is what it is.

BTW I hope this thing works as well as all my other Glocks. It looks and feels a bit inferior to them.

Very nice!! I have a few EOTech + 3x magnifier setups that I really like. I don't have that Vortex setup (yet) but I love all my Vortex scopes a lot....

It's basically a slim single stack Glock 19.

One of my coworkers has it and loves it. The rest of us got the 43X. We're running them with the Shield Arms 15 round magazine.

Just installed an Armory Craft trigger upgrade to the Sig Sauer P365. Looks and feels great. Will be field testing it soon (as soon as this storm is over).

It's an amazing sub-compact concealed carry gun. 10+1 or 12+1 9mm, tiny tiny gun, very reliable very accurate (for its size).

We're giving one away at the end of the month too: https://www.horizonarmsresearch.com/...ffle-giveaway/

I bought my wife her first gun a few years ago, she had a thing for lever's so I got her a Henry Golden Boy (Girl in her case I guess). She loves the thing, it has a buttery smooth action and great quality. My Great Grandfather had a Winchester 94 that I always loved, one of his hunting buddy's talked him out of it decades ago....pissed me off. I want to get my wife another Henry, this time a .357 to go with her S&W 686.

A lever doesn't draw much attention from the scary black gun folks but can get the job done. Canada eh.

i guess playing red dead redemption and shooting a 3030 lever made me want one. They just look so cool and so mechanical.

Followed the IG to enter for the Sig. Looking for a new concealed, and the P365 was on the short list.
