M6 GC Questions.

Hi everyone. New here. I’m picking up a 2018 M6 GC this weekend and have a few questions I hope the community here can give me some feedback on.

Under the service required screen I see that the front brakes are due in 1,400 miles. I have the CPO report for the car and it shows that the front brakes have 8 mm on them (that’s about 50% left). What is that screen telling me? That I’ll need new front brakes in 1,400 miles or that I just need to get them looked at?
