Seatbelt warning Gong

Hi everyone,
Just a quick question. I noticed that I don’t have that warning gong when I am not using my seatbelt. This is not normal, or?

If you bought the car used it could have been coded off by the previous owner.

Sounds like it's coded off. Consider yourself lucky, one less thing to invest in.

Probably coded already you should check out to see if you have more things coded here is a list of items I had coded in 2014 for my 535xi to give you a reference,
Front Seat belt chimes/ reminders removal (option to code the driver or passenger's seat or both)

Initial triple-gong removal (sounds after engine start if driver's seat belt is not already on)

Close mirrors + windows + sunroof through Comfort Access - closing works by holding finger on groves area on handle

Close/ open mirrors + windows + sunroof through Key Fob - hold down open or close key
+ reduced folding delay to 0.5 second

Electronics off when the engine is shut off and driver's door opened

Doors unlock when turning the engine off = single pull

Fog lights on when car is unlocked (Welcome Lights - light switch must be on Auto: to the left)

Fog lights stay on with high beams

The A/C button now remembers its last setting

Wait...we (those of us in the USA and Japan) can code on and get the Euro version of high beam assist despite having the S8S4A Decoding variable light distribution (which handcuffs all the tricks the headlights do in Europe)? I thought it hadn't been hacked yet. Hmmm.

I’m not sure if the headlights do what they can do in Europe, at the time I did have the led headlights and when coded they did move around noticeably when there was a dark area and not just flick between high beam and low beam it was pretty cool, The guy that coded my car back then was a forum member he used via laptop he charged me $225 he was very professional, that list was from his recap, now for the M6 I want to try Carly but I will use that list to help pick and chose things I need coded, I’m just hoping Carly can do most of those things on that list

Ah...thanks for the clarification. What you said above sounds more like what I've heard & read about this topic in the past. Was just checking to see if things had changed, yet.

From the BMW TIS in regards to the non glare high beam assist:
