MY15 Clutch pedal (6Sp. Qn)
Hi,
New to this forum and new to the buying an M6 over the internet as well. Background: Owned an E90 for 12 years, loved the manual transmission. Moved to an C63 (compelling reasons). Hate that I cannot shift (still love the car but need more interaction with the car). With two kids and grumpy in-laws I needed a 4-door saloon which I can shift. Between the F10M5 and the M6 GC, I got a better deal on the GC and pulled the trigger. Now: I learned through (limited) reviews on the 6 sp. that the clutch is extremely soft and has no push or feel (similar to the E90 M3 I had for a weekend for a test drive pilot). Ask: Since I did not test drive the 6 speed GC yet, can someone help me with my fears. I was expecting a stiffer kick-back on the clutch (similar to my e90 325xi). Appreciate it as always! |

It's the same transmission as the f10 550i 6MT, if you can find one...you should try test driving one.
I've owned a E90 M3 6MT, I wouldn't call it soft. Maybe it's the particular car you drove? |

Will try. If there were an F10 without a deposit within 500 miles it would be in my garage
I may need to drive to NC to get my hands on one but I think I may take that drive. |
