N63 issues?

Thinking of buy a 2012 650i convertible with the N63. Under 23,000 miles. Any major defect with this engine like the N54 had?

You need to search the forums...

In short, yes - but it doesn't make it a bad car. Mines been a dog, but is great when it works.

I'm not as bothered as some as I keep a few cars here and elsewhere, but still sum it up as being disappointed in my "fun car".

Edit to add: You'll get better customer service in The States and the CCP should apply. Brits take it raw.

Don't buy a 2012 unless it's very cheap. Th engine is problematic. Search the forums.
