F13 Wiper Relay Location

Howdy, folks.

I think my wipers are not properly parking, and I'm told the leading cause is a faulty wiper relay. However, no matter what Google search I use, I can't find a single F'n reliable source for where the relay is located.

Here's the problem... I hope y'all can tell me where I need to be looking. I've tried behind the glove box (I have NO idea who BMW thought was going to get their hand in there...) and in the trunk. But neither location has what looks to be the part depicted.

Your help would be appreciated.

Been there - no help for a rookie. I spent a half hour and still can't find any information. You have to know what the parts are called or where to look in the first place to get any sort of information out of that reference.

So, still need help.

Isn't there a wiper position adjustment in the settings? Maybe they're in snow/ice mode?

according to the "newtis" information, the wiper motor is electronically controlled by the wiper module. There is no wiper relay. for the location see https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...odule/FEhjq0Yb

Well, that'd explain why I can't find it. ;-)

However, I've seen ample reference to a wiper relay being suspect in this problem, but I can't seem to find where the relay is located on the board... however, in this car, it's not easy to get at, so maybe I'm just not seeing it. Granted, these are not for an F-series, but I would guess BMW hasn't re-engineered something as simple as wipers just for one series of car.
