Ceramic Coat?

Has anyone had ceramic coating applied? Would you say it’s worth it?

for me its worth it cuz it saves me from waxing the car like every couple months, which takes about 2 hrs, also is because I can do paint correction n ceramic coating myself xD.

Alot of ppl inquire about ceramic coating for scratches n rock chip protection, nothing will stop a rock flying at u r paint at 60km/hr, as for scratches yes it does help, but its not bullet proof either, eventually love marks will make its way to the paint.

Ceramic coating is more of a paint protection whereas it protects the paint from natural elements, salt etc, pretty much a semi-permanent wax that last for years depending on which one you go with, so if u r in to that, then ceramic coating is right for you, it also adds a certain amount of gloss, as well it makes the car easier to clean since stuff dont really stick to it. Def get a good paint correction to remove all them swirls n love marks first before the coating tho.

below is a reflection from my driver door :P

Thanks very much! I-ve got a lot to consider here. I actually like waxing my car.
