F13 N63TU tune by myself

Since I'm an engineer, I always wanted to make things by my own

I got the BM3 and started to make my own tune instead of just taking the OTS map, since there are no informations what is how tweaked, just a +- HP gain

From my POV itīs hard to start with, cause BM3 use non common nomenclature for the maps.
I asked them to provide the BOSCH IDs or something similar, but they refused.
They suggest people would know what the maps are for, if they look on them

So I created different maps, two I want to share and maybe I get some hints / advices

Tune 1.5 is pushing really hard (to hard?) at take off but I get bouncing boost when pushing in fixed gear from low rpm.

Tune 2.0 runs very smooth but boost target will not be reached.

One of the main differences between these two maps is "Boost Control - Turbine Thrust Setpoint (kW)".
What does this table really do and how is it involved?

Greetz

I made another tune.

Can someone tell me, why I get "saging" boost target?
Which values should I play with?

What year is your car? From what I have read, the earlier N63's used manual boost control and later models used electronic boost control. manual control never works as well as it bleeds off pressure inconsistently. I am sure someone has a better understanding/explanation, but I think that is the gist of it.

Thanks, but this can't be issue.
Boost TARGET is saging (and so MAP), Boost pre-throttle is quite high.
So it is throttle induced.

Which BM3 tables shall be tweaked to get more throttle and less wgdc?

these like to drive the cars mostly. you would want to ask the question on the 5 series forum in regards to that engine
