Have you tried the jameson cold brew. Have it ans haven't got into it yet.

I actually enjoyed the cold brew. Jameson has done a good job with their releases like the cold brew and IPA cask IMO.

I've seen it, but I need to try some in a bar once before I invest in a bottle. And bars aren't where I want to be these days.

Recent haul, I've seen the Glenmorangie on here a few times. Have yet to try it though. Will report back!

Stopped here yesterday and grabbed some new bourbon. Very good but not cheap at nearly $60 a bottle.

Worth a shot though, pun intended.

That Glenmorangie 10yr you got is one of my favorite everyday type bottles.

$60/bottle will buy several very good bourbons.

I really like that place. Haven't had many of their spirits by themselves, but the cocktails they make with them are always excellent in my experience. Great food too!

A quick heads up to any of you who are "Friends of Laphroaig" - they are about to terminate the points-for-schwag system. I just found out that you have until the 30th of Sept to register your points (certificates that come with the bottles) or they are worthless; you can redeem them until sometime in 2021. They promise that they are going to find a better way to ship items, so that it won't be prohibitive, and if you have at least 500 there will be some kind of perk. Right now I'm seeing about 35 euro's shipping for a single glencairn glass, so it hasn't been worth my time to get anything. Entering these has given me something to do during my online staff meetings this week; now I just have to get the rest of the #'s from the stuff stored in the basement....

Bought a few new bottles last weekend: Whistlepig Piggyback 6 years Rye, Basil Hayden Bourbon, and Highland Park 12. Going camping with some friends and thought that we should have a variety to drink.

Been getting into bourbons lately... took me awhile, but was able to try the Buffalo Trace. Liquor store owners tell me they have customers who stalk for this stuff. Lol.

I saw that at Costco recently but didn’t think to try it. Probably should have bought a bottle. Ended up buying another Templeton Rye since I was running low on rye whiskey.

This is definitely true for a lot of stuff depending on where you are. For me, I am jealous of Ohio as they have cases and cases of Weller OWA sitting around and we cannot find it at all. The Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace sit on shelves around here. People buy and drink it, just not at craze/hoarding levels.

As someone from Iowa, I can honestly say the current Templeton is horrible. The distillery has been sued over calling it an Iowa whiskey cause they just source it from someone and bottle it. They are finally getting to ~4yrs on their own stuff now so that might start popping up, but aside from mixing I don't think I would ever recommend it to anyone.

Sounds like we need to set up an exchange program with Ohio. I'll gladly buy up our cases of BT to trade for Wellers!

Yeah honestly this bottle doesn’t taste as good. It’s weird. Might call Total Wine to see if they would let me exchange. Doubt it since it’s opened and I took a sip.
