I daily it. Can't imagine doing winter in a RWD car tho. Props to you for trying. What tires are you using?

Honestly it’s terrible with the low end torque but I respect it. To me the options and heated interior is worth the struggle. My stock wheels are 433 20’s I’m summer tread. Those came off in the fall. I am running my new set up. 21’s all the way around, front grabs but the 325’s in the rear float on snow.

Dont understand why someone would buy this car and not "daily" it. There are far better options out there to have as a weekend/summer toy if you have something more practical qs your daily driver.

I use my M6 GC on a daily basis - we're a 1 car family anyway. For me it has enough practicality and more than enough performance and stance to be the best of both worlds.

We've had our first snow here in the North East UK and I'm glad I purchased a winter wheel & tyre setup from my local dealer.

Currently the car's on a set 19" 403M wheels shod with Pirelli Sottozeros and it's coped fine with a couple of snow covered roads I've had to use. You just need to be gentle with the power pedal

I daily drive,l but of course I am in South Florida. Summer sports all year round, top down 75% of the time, 14k miles a year.

"Honestly it’s terrible with the low end torque but I respect it." Change your setup. Driving in automode with dct setting one, all comfort mode and all nannies on is why it seems so sluggish. Use your "M" button to switch to dct 3, sport plus on suspension and throttle, sport on steering, and shift (but not too soon)

Mines gone into hibernation until spring. I have a 2012 750xi with 21" pirelli sotto zeros as a beater. Plows through snow like nothing.

I daily my GC out here in SoCal. It just makes every day that much more glorious, driving a 700+hp car after you get out of bed

I daily mine - about 20k miles a year here in Atlanta. Summer tires year round and top down about 80% of the time. Great daily driver IMHO. When we get snow once a year I drive the wife's all wheel drive SUV.

I drive mine all winter. I put Nokian Hakkapeliitta snows on it, a square setup (same tires all around) for winter. Those things are as soft as gummi bears in cold weather. The handling suffers, but it moves fine in Chicago. I grew up driving RWD cars in Michigan, and it just takes some planning and patience. And I need to shovel my alley, which most people don't bother with. We've had mild winters since I got the M6, but I hope I'm fine this year (supposed to be a bit more snow this year?).

I only got my 545 stuck once in my alley in 11 years, and if it looks that deep, I'll leave the M6 at home for a day or two.

I only drive mine when weather is good. Black is a bitch to keep clean so I have 5 other vehicles to use for crappy weather. Ohio weather sucks!

Daily driver. Chauffeur my daughter and our neighbor to the Jr. High every morning and always look forward to the drive home in the evening. The only downsides are that a good portion of the inbound commute (with kiddos) is over some poor/chopped up road and the ride can tend to be a bit jostling (CP). Also the few days/weeks where snow/ice comes into play it has to stay in the garage. I've had occasions where I've been dealt mid-day snow and have had to nurse it home (on stock Michelins). In a word; Difficult.

Mainly it’s performance is useless in anything but warm/dry conditions so if you have a family this might be you’re only good option for a weekend/summer car. This car is terrible in snow having 600hp and being rwd. I have brand new all season tires on and barely move with an inch of snow on the ground. If you live in North East any low car is a half-year vehicle.

Well yeah I could turn all the safety stuff off and crank up the power but then I just look like a fool trying to get traction .5sec sooner than Before. It’s not just snow. The ground is also 10*F with salt residue. With 30*f dry roads my car will full spin to 60mph if I get on it. Adding sports mode just adds to the uselessness lmao

Do you think CP makes that much of a difference in ride? I have it as well and always thought this thing rides kinda rough for a luxury sedan. I’m even on a taller 21” wheel and it smoothned things a bit but I’m still feeling every bump in comfort mode.

I actually love the way its sprung and I doubt the CP is much different. On nearly any surface I feel its best described as "communicative" as opposed to jostling. My morning commute has surfaces that have been repeatedly patched and repaired (utilities work mainly) and is rutted and pot holed. My car doesn't like it and I don't think the non-CP version would either.

I would think that the 21's may actually add a bit of harshness(?) I always hesitate to refer to mine as a "luxury"....definitely "sport sedan" in my mind
