M5 Wheel Tire Pressures
I just picked up a new to me Black Sapphire Metallic 2015 650 GC. I put the M5 wheels and tires (that I had pulled off my 550) and it changes the look completely, I've got a pair of M6 grills coming. Later I'm going to change out the mufflers and ditch the trapezoidal exhaust outlets to M6 mufflers with the M6 rear diffuser, then lower it just a taste, probably with ACS springs as I want to preserve the ride quality and don't want to feel every irregularity in the road.
But getting back to my original query, on my 550 I was running 36psi all the way around. Looking at the tire card on the GC it calls for 42 in the front and 39 in the rears, but that's for the 245/275 20" set-up, I'm running 255/35's in front and 285/30's in back on the 343 wheels. Right now I've got 38psi all the way around. You guys with M5 wheels, what are you running tire pressure-wise?

Really? You want the trapezoidal tips? The shipping is probably more than they're worth.

yeah wanted to get rid of the circular tips, but keep with the bmw line. we dont really have 650's over here so those tips are quite uncommon, also wanted quite a subtle body kit so going with maxton design
https://www.maxtondesign.co.uk/body-...12-f13-m-sport the tips suite i think

The door card on my M6 Coupe shows 32psi all round with the stock 265/35r20 and 295/30r20 setup.
So I’d say 34-36psi would be in the ball park. As yours is a GC it will be a bit heavier plus you have one size smaller tyres. If Flying Ace is about he could confirm what his GC says, I’d expect it to be slightly higher on his car. |

I would recommend using the 20" wheel/tire inflation pressure listed in the owners manual...then adjust accordingly (within the MAX tire pressure warning on the tire itself) for what is comfortable for your roads and driving situation.
The width of the tire is not going to affect the recommended tire inflation in the widths you've given vs what is in the owners manual for 20" tires with the same aspect ratio as what you've mounted from an M5.
