F06 power trunk/boot/deck lid.........any progress on retrofit??
I remain shocked at the lack of the powered trunk/boot/deck lid on the 6 Gran Coupe! (along with no grab handles, no fully-open sunroof!!)
Waiting for some adventurous person to figure out the parts list...... Q: agreed that the Style 367 are the best looking wheels, with our without the snow. I will swap you my powder-coated Style 351s for original 367s!! |

I was able to find the kit through a Facebook page. Bimmer Coders. I still have to finish up the kick sensor install and wiring. |

Do you have a link or contact info for Bimmer Coders on this kit?

If that bothers you, try bearing someone closing your motorized trunk manually? It makes me cringe when someone unknowingly pulls my trunklid closed instead of hitting the little button (not on the M6GC) to let it close automatically. |

I posted this on another thread, but here it is again:
I purchased the kit from Bimmer Coder for about $575 USD (shipping to the US included). I have not received it yet, but can't wait to do this mod. Instructions are attached and POC of the person who sold me the kit. POC: Vic Waran Bimmer Coder T: +60123969654 E: info@bimmercoder.com W: fb.com/bimmercoder |

Grab the handle from within the trunk to close it. The Emblem was engineered to be able to take the lifting force to open it. Don't worry.

Well yes, I realize how it works and I was not worried. It just seems a step down on a car that cost nearly twice as much as my prior car. If I said I bought a $5,000 TV that has no remote, would you say that all I need to do is get up and walk across the room to change channels?
