So it's been siting in my garage for months collecting dust. Take it off my hands for $300

N63TU MAF Pipes

Hey guys, I built my own intake for my 750Li (exact same as 550i) a while back because I didn't want to pay the crazy prices they're charging for a few pieces of pipe... As everyone knows, the biggest hurdle in doing this is the MAF sensor locations. A friend of mine (metal worker) was able to help me out tremendously and make the perfect MAF adapters that fit right into the stock turbo inlets pipes and accept the MAF sensor! I ran these on my car for over a year before I sold it and it worked amazing.

Since then I've actually made and sold several sets of MAF pipes for others wanting to make their own intake (short ram, engine compartment or behind grilles). Let me know if anyone is interested in a pair of the adapters. Selling for $200/pair with free shipping. You can use these MAF Pipes and make whatever intake you want.

PRO TIPS:
- I made my intake using turbo inlet pipes from 2015 X5M (these come out of turbos and point towards front; eliminating the "U" bend from back to front)
- Then connected the custom MAF pipes I have and plugged in sensors
- Then used some 3" aluminum intake pipe from eBay, some flex pipe and some couplers to run the intakes all the way to in front of radiator.
ALL in this was a super cheap way to build the same intakes they're charging thousands for, and was cheaper than the ARM version that takes the pipes out to front of car. PM or email me at jxpatel@email.com if you're interested in a pair of MAF pipes.

Waste of money. The HP gains are at the high end at the price of loss of HP and torque in the mid-range where you need it more.

Yes and no. A custom tuner can adapt for increased air flow through the entire power band. There is gains across the entire curve if your willing to fine tune them. Def isn't the first mod I'd recommend for gains but for people with maxed out numbers it's worth it.

Which MAF housing are you selling? The ones in the first 3 pictures are NOT custom and available online for ~$65 shipped for the pair. I used the same exact ones on my 6 and have had no issues whatsoever (running BM3). The MAF housing in the pictures with the motor do seem to be custom.

I have built my own front mount intake using X5 50i inlets for under $300 altogether. Did I notice an increase in power? No...but the sound and looks was well worth it. The front mount intakes are an attention grabber at every car meet. The car looks much more aggressive.

"A custom tuner can adapt for increased air flow through the entire power band." Yes if you get the right tune and you get cold air, unlike the pics above which expose the filters to a hot engine bay, hot air is death to performance

Here is the full list I was sent over by Itzjoker and ordered. I will be using the flex housing temporarily and will mock up hard pipe to be made in likely carbon fiber from maf to filter as I am not the biggest fan of flex ducting.
