New rotors and pads needed

Hi all, just bought a 2016 M6 gran coupe a couple of months ago, looking at changing the pads, the oems just dusts way too much. I have read many old threads about the pad selection. Can someone point me to some front pad options? I am looking for low dust and minimal noise, I also heard some pad option has a shim that prevents the clunking sound from changing directions? I know Akebono is available for the rear. Also, what cross drilled rotors do you recommend if need replacing? Thanks for the help.

Depending on how you use your car, I've always been a fan of EBC red stuff. They'll dust for a bit during break-in, but the difference is night and day for me over OEM pads.

You should look into FCP Euro they carry stock discs , plus there warranty is for life even after your part is used and worn they will replace pads and discs for free, minus the shipping costs for the cores

I read this once, and copied it as a book-marker that one day I'd address the dust -- I never got to it but I've heard carbotech is good:

Powerstop Z23 Carbon Ceramic are popular street pads across many makes/models. I have a set in the garage I'm hoping to install soon.

Hawk Performance Ceramic pads are another option. IIRC, I'm using these for street use on my M3 with Stoptech BBK. Hawk website isn't working for me. Try this:

I read somewhere that slotted rotors were better than drilled because they're less prone to warping and offered better stopping power. Anyone have input or advice either way?
