Tire differences??
So I purchased a new set of wheels for my M6 and the seller included 2 rear tires to sweeten the deal for me. They are both 295/30/20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on 20x11 wheels. Upon mounting the tires on the wheels, I noticed that the tires don't look the same. One tire his a bigger bead than the other so it looks more stretched than the other one. I looked at both the wheels and the tires and all the numbers check out but the prod. Date on the tires are 0617 and 0118.
Has anyone ever seen this difference in tire before? The seller never paid attention to it but I noticed as the wheels were sitting next to each other. |

Maybe they are different spec tires - if they are Mercedes spec they will have the letters MO in a circle, if they are BMW spec there will be a star in a circle.
You can also check the product numbers then check the Michelin website to see what they are spec'd to.
