Just Bought- What should I expect

I just bought a '14 650i convertible with 80k miles on it. Sold as a certified pre-owned from the dealer and everything looks good so far and it drives amazing. But I am aware about the foreseeable problems with this car with the engine and other components but just want to get advice on how I can keep it going such as using premium gas, watching the oil level etc.

Had a 5 series before this but wanted to drive the 6. So far I don't regret it.
Thx

IMHO.... Just ignore the car when it comes to oil maintenance (stick with usual 3k miles or three months if you can) and enjoy your reliable N63TU beast with CPO as a nice layer of comfort.

Congrats and welcome to the club! Now get yourself a bootmod3 license.

Congrats on the new ride but doesn’t a BMW CPO have to have less than 60k miles on them?

I would not change oil every 3k miles. That's really overkill with modern oils. I do a year or 7,000 miles, whichever comes first. That's still under what BMW recommends.

+1 on the yearly service. This is my umpteenth BMW V8 and I've always done oil every 12 months. Never done enough travel to warrant any more than that.

I think this buyer got ripped off. CPO on a 2014 w/80k miles. I don't think so. CPO has to be done before the 4 year warranty expired. I guess this could be a very late sold 2014 with a 2 year cpo so expiring this year, but that is a stretch.

Whoops my mistake didn't mean to say CPO but it WAS just pre owned from the BMW dealership.

So far definitely enjoying it 10x better than the good ole 5. Especially for a 2014 it comes with a descent amount of today's bells and whistles. I think my favorite part about it till now is the sound. Definitely will have to give it a lot of attention and I will be writing updates on my experiences and how it keeps up over time.
Thx
