Yup. Many folks complain about Eco Pro mode neutering the car performance wise, but honestly, the car felt no different to drive compared to comfort and normal modes.

I feel a significant difference in torque when driving in Eco mode, and honestly the loss in performance is not worth the 5 bucks I'm gonna save per tank hahaha

I just love city driving in sport and hearing the burbles

My avarage fuel consumption in the city when using ECO PRO and driving really softly is 18-20l/100km. Mostly short distance with many crossroads. After reading the whole thread I'm a bit confused because it seems more than others. On the other hand when driving highway 130-150km/h it's 11-12l/100km.

Your city mileage seems about right or maybe even a bit low. But that's about 12-13 mpg, which is what I will do in comfort mode and I don't drive all that gently. Your highway mileage seems low. If I cruise in the low 80s I can get right around 26mpg, which is about 9L/100km.

Thanks for your answer! Funny thing is that when driving faster in the city with much more fun, the fuel consumption is not much different than when driving slowly and trying to save some fuel :-)

2017 650i xDrive convertible. At 20K miles i was averaging 17.3 mpg. I now have 55K and drive it mostly in Sport Mode or M/S and average 16.9 mpg.

running two V8's and blown / forced induction at that .... usually I don't care too much about fuel economy, I mean so long as its not 'ridiculous' it makes very little difference to my life a few extra litres used. I think when I last looked at my 650 it was about 16L/ 100 klms and that was mostly urban... with some motorway cruising. As I don't drive the 650 that much that's what I recall. On longer motorway journeys I recall it being actually surprising very good if I'm behaved and don't carry on like a typical BMW idiot.
My Supercharged Range Rover isn't as good in urban obviously being a tonne heavier, however it too isn't bad on the motorway if I behave I can get around 11-12L to 100klms which is pretty good for a 5.0 SC V8.
All this being said and while again its not really making a huge change to my life the crazy petrol prices in Aus atm for 98oct fuel $2.30 P/litre. Is starting to make me consider 'do i really need to go there'.... don't worry I've no intention of rushing out and buying a telsa but I would say petrol prices doubling here in Aus atm does make me 'consider' my journeys ...

Stage 1 tune improved my fuel economy - by driving the same. Especially cruising on the motorway.
