I have the same question... Was looking at these:

https://www.carid.com/smart-sensor/p...&url=108376419

But would really like to hear what other people here have been running with success.

It took 9 resets & drove nearly 20 miles before it registered.

Note: RDE017 only works on vehicles w/ a production date after 3/1/2014

I've had these for a little over 1000 miles w/o any problems

I bought a set of HUF which is the OEM supplier part on eBay for around 140. Should have them installed next week so I’ll revert back.

Edit: post above me links what I just bought.

I'm split.... Let me know how those treat you. For an extra $50 i could get a full set from TireRack, ebay always seems a little shifty to me if anything goes wrong.

I purchased that one based on the OEM part number at realoem.com. I installed it on my winter tires and it worked great. Just reset it and it will register after 10-15 min of driving.

I bought a set of ITM sensors from Amazon and they were 2016 M6 GC specific and every week or two i have to reset them. Go OEM, that's what I'm going to get next time.

I bought these, which SHOULD be legit OEM.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Wheel-E...e/253253416001

Guy came down to $140/set. I'll report back with results once they are mounted and installed on the new Vorsteiner 21's.

Old post, but worth updating. I ordered these, will let you all know how they work out

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

*****EDIT 1/13/19******

Just realized that you cannot adjust the angle of the Driven Products valve stem (in relationship to the sensor), like you can the HUF RDE017. My ADV1s require a steeper angle than I believe is stock (pulling the tires off this week off my 601Ms, so I'll know then).

Probably going to put the DPs on the stock wheels, and then order some new HUFs. The RDE017s that cam with the ADV1 will not work with my pre 3/14 build date unfortunately. Not sure that the sensor sticking up a bit is really going to be an issue - the interweb seems split - but going to play it safe and get the HUFs so that I know for sure I can get the sensors more flush with the barrel.

The RDE017 are for sale cheap BTW, since I have no use for them. I have three though, so another one would need to be bought.

FYI these work excellent and the stems are the right size.

Took the TPMS sensors to my local Discount Tire today to have them checked out so that I could get a jump on correcting any issues before finishing up my wheel build, and they informed me that these were incorrect for a 2014 M6. Confused, as that the DP website says it is compatible, but realized later that he didn't ask me for my build date.

After doing some sleuthing, I'm guessing these are only good for 6 series (and most other BMWs) built before 3/1/2014. DPs website says these are not compatible for 2015+. Likely not aware that later built 2014s are different, not just 2015+. Luckily (or unluckily depending on how you look at it), mine has a 4/13 build date. Going to confer with the manufacturer Monday, and probably move forward.

BTW, does anybody know why BMW TPMS sensors changed across the board 3/1/14 and on? Extra features etc?

Update: My 2014 car is a pre 3/1/2014 build, and the HUF RDE012s work perfectly, picked up and registered within a few hundred feet ( I did reset the TPMS sensors in the iDrive menu while it was idling for a bit).

Bought from this vendor on eBay: http://www.ebaystores.com/eurowheelsusa

Will update how the Driven Products E734923 sensors work out after I refinish the stock wheels and have my track tires mounted, but a trail fitting on the stock wheels was perfect (for the nonadjustable stem angle of the DP sensor), and I did take them back to my local Discount Tire to have them checked out for a 2013 M6 application, which they checked out ok for. Therefore, the Drive Products E734923 are good for pre 3/1/2014 builds.

Just get the correct tpms sensors, HUF RDE012s, possibly the DPs I posted above, but still haven't gotten them on the car yet to confirm. Pretty sure the DP work for pre 3/14 builds though. Did you have your current tpms tested at a tire shop?
